College campus has launched Multi-Gym on 01/10/2016 at GSSSIETW campus. This provides Fitness Training, Weight Loss/ gain, Aerobics classes. Gym is equipped with well modernized equipments like CU upright bike, E Glide elliptical, Multi station GYM EXM, Infinite rower model, Commercial use step board, Neoprene ankle weight 2.0 Kg, Anti burst gym ball, Dumbbells. Around 20 students are taking befit of the Gym. Students are trained by well experienced Gym instructor. The Gym runs in 2 sessions From morning 6Am to 8 Am and in the evening 5Pm to 7Pm.
A seminar hall with a minimum of 450 seating capacity,available in the campus. It is well equipped with audio and visual systems. Events such as small meetings and intra department level seminars/symposia, etc are organized here.
Auditorium is very well furnished for conducting extra curricular programmes. It is a well spacious and accommodate over 1200 students at a time.
Smt. Jayalakshmi matha, is the revered mother of His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji of Avadhootha Datta Peetam, Mysore. His Holiness Swamiji has blessed this institution with a prayer hall which is first of its kind in the history of engineering colleges in Mysore and also in the entire state. The main objective of this hall is to prepare our students to manage stress, maintain our culture and devote time towards the Almighty by learning yoga, Meditation, Pranayama & Sudarshankriya.
The entire campus is provided with an internet bandwidth of 100 Mbps from BSNL (70 Mbps in FTTH plan and 40 Mbps in National Mission on Education Scheme through ICT plan).Nearly 400computers are networked with high speed LAN and the total campus is Wi-Fi enabled.These facilities are utilized by the students and faculty members to carry out their academic activities like project work, presentation of papers for conferences and seminars, downloading the required information and browsing etc.
A closed-circuit television camera (CCTV camera) can produce images or recordings for surveillance. The campus is facilitated with CCTV cameras to have constant monitoring of the Institutional activities. College is having MoU with Adithya Hospital, Gokulam, Mysuru to provide medical facility to students and staff of our institution during emergencies on top priority.
As a part of its ‘Green Campus’ initiative, College campus has set up a 100kWp Roof Top Solar PV Power Plant on its academic buildings which is
spread over an area of 15,000 sq.ft.. The 100kWp plant consists of smaller arrays each having 12 * 6 cells. The Solar Power Plant,
with unique design, consists of 100kWp Solar Photovoltaic Modules, 2 numbers of 50kW Grid Connected Inverters. Street lights in the
college campus will also be supplied from the same rooftop power.
With the solar potential of 325W peak sun hours per day for each panel,
the PV power system efficiency of 78%. The estimated plant capacity factor is 17%. More than 50% of electricity demands of the institution will
be met by this solar roof top plant.
Power interruptions can be frequent and prolonged, particularly during the rainy season. Conversely, load shedding, the practice of scheduled rotating blackouts to conserve power, is common during the dry season. To cater to this, College campus has a Power Backup which is an essential prerequisite. The Institution has Diesel generators of capacity of 125 KVA, “Powerica” make and 250 KVA "Kirloskar" make. Added to this, there is a total UPS backup of 406.6 KVA
College campus is equipped with a Sewage Treatment Plant to minimize the use of potable water by recycling the sewage water collected from the hostel blocks, college and canteen.
