Aims

The aim of Electronics and Communication Engineering department is to become a leading technical institute of academic excellence by imparting high patterns of discipline through innovative programs of global standards making our students technologically superior and ethically strong to serve the Nation.

Objectives

  1. To make a graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering Program to be globally competitive.
  2. Imparting Quality education to students.
  3. Must be prepared for practical applications and hands-on work as evidenced by laboratory design, project study, computer exercises and practicum courses.
  4. Is expected to be environmentally conscious.
  5. Must be prepared for graduate works and research in electronics and communications engineering fields.
  6. Must be knowledgeable on human, financial and physical resource management.
  7. To develop leadership and initiative, and to inculcate a sense of responsibility amongst the students and faculty.
  8. Dissemination of knowledge and information by organizing seminar/workshops/short term courses in the planned manner.

 

 


 

 

The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, GSSSIETW, has overtaken similar institutions in this region towards it endeavors to equip the students with skills and knowledge desirable in the industry and in their changing environments. This has been possible due to unique curricula possessing four years study, punctuated with industrial trainings in which students go through every sphere of Electronics and Communication.

The well equipped lab, undoubtedly the best in the region and the experienced faculty with the encouraging hands groom the graduates in practicals as well as theory.
