Aims & Objectives

Quality objectives of the Department are to disseminate Knowledge and foster exchange of ideas between academic community and industrial organizations. Our main focus is to inculcate entrepreneurship skills among students. The department aims to achieve academic excellence in terms of developing advanced technical skills for the professional needs of the industry.

Department of Computer Engineering is a synergistic product of many proactive minds. A team of 20 Teaching and 03 Technical Staff members under the leadership of Prof. Radha Sudarshan unanimously harnesses its potential in all aspects to take the department to great heights. The Bachelor of Engineering Programme commenced in the year 2003. The department has an intake of 120 students. M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering has started from 2013 with an intake of 18 students. We have been among the top performers in Mysore Region consistently. All laboratories are well-equipped with state of the art technology.

Department Forum:

Association of Rising Computer Science Students (ARCS), the Students Association of the Department, aims to upgrade the knowledge of the faculties and students by promoting team building activities that encourage students to explore, realize and sharpen their innate skills, required to work effectively in small diverse groups.
