Telecommunication Engineering unravels the marvels of modern communication technology for designing and overseeing the installation of telecommunication equipments and facilities, such as complex electronic switching systems, copper wire telephone facilities, and fiber optics.
Objectives
- To imbibe fundamental concepts and motivate innovation in problem solving.
- To sharpen student's skills and guide them to become achievers.
- To create state of art infrastructure for imparting training and create research facilities.
- To create environment for overall development by encouraging to organize and conduct technical and extra-mural activities.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Telecommunication Engineering (TE) deals with acquiring the knowledge of design and development in Electronic Devices, IC Design, Microprocessors, Analog & Digital Circuits, Satellite and Microwave Communication, Mobile Communication, and Fiber Optics Communication.
Department was started in the academic year 2006-07 with an intake of 60 students. The department has 11 well-experienced, dedicated and qualified teaching and 2 non-teaching staff members striving hard with unity & integrity working towards omni directional development of the department. Department is well equipped in terms of laboratories & class rooms.
The department encourages the students & also gives platform to show their talents by organizing many technical events & symposiums. Department arranges industrial visits to provide an interaction between education institution & industry once in a semester for all the students.
DEPARTMENT FORUM
FEST (Forum of Engineering Students of Telecommunication) is the department association managed by students and staff members of the department. It has started its journey on October 30th 2009, which was initiated to give platform for students to bring out their hidden talents & potentials. The department is going to use this forum to conduct many seminars, events & technical talks.
